I live far away and need you to recover something for me. How does this work?
It’s easy! Simply fill out the form below to start, enter in your information and the recovery you are seeking. You may ship the device into us or ask us to send you a box. We’ll have a look once received, give you a price, and ship it back to you.

It’s important to fill in the form below before sending in your device for recovery. There have been times when people have sent things in and we don’t know who it was from or what the issue is.
How much is return shipping?
In most cases it’s $15 for return shipping but if you’ve purchased the ‘Send Me A Box With Shipping Included’ (within NZ only) then your return shipping is covered.
Where do I send my device to?
We have a partnership with our local Post shop but please submit the form before sending anything in. This is the only mail in Address we have.

How long does a recovery take?
It depends. Each recovery is unique and takes time to get right. We will have an idea of how long it could take within 2-3 days of receiving your device. To get an idea, take a look at How Long Does It Take To Recover a 1TB Hard Drive?
How much does a HDD recovery cost?

I live and work in Auckland, you’re too far away and I don’t want to ship it to you. I’ll find someone local.
Since we are based in the small town of Timaru, we can keep our prices super affordable. We don’t have a office in the Auckland CBD to waste $4000 a month in rent on. And sending in a recovery could not be easier. Talk to us about our easy ship option.
What if I don’t want to find a box or figure out how to ship something? I want you to do it for me.
Sure, simply select ‘Send Me A Box With Shipping Included (within NZ only)’ when filling out the form below. We’ll send you a box with packing materials and a Courier Post label. All you’ll need to do is call 0800 268 7437 to book a pickup or drop in into your local NZ Post Shop. This option costs $35 and includes return Courier Post back to you.
So you’ll figure out what’s wrong for free?
Well yes, but if your device is especially difficult to diagnose or if you’ve been given a quote that you decide not to proceed with, then you will need to pay the appropriate costs but each case is different so we really need to have a look at it first.
What if my device is not recoverable?
You will not be required to pay for an unsuccessful recovery. However, your quote may indicate specific parts required for the recovery operation. Should the operation prove unsuccessful, we may still need to invoice you for these parts, simply to cover costs. In the same way, should you need your device returned afterwards, we may need to charge for our assembly work and courier fees.
How may I pay?
We accept Internet Banking, Humm and Laybuy. In store we have Eftpos, Visa and MasterCard.
